I'm a HUGE hockey fan so yes, I'll be watching those. Also love the snow boarding.

Let me guess, Canada is favourites to win the gold in the hockey... followed by the US and Russia lol

Belive it or not, but Sweden is followed by Canada, USA, Germany, Denmark and THEN Finland (joking) Razz

P.S there is an old scandinavian tradition when it comes to icehocky betwine Finland and Sweden, no mather how the main event will come out as long we beat Finland (if you are from sweden) and vice versa Smile

Darka: What are Finland going to win?

None of the events which matter, honestly. Crosscountry skiing has turned into something brown in my book during the past few years. The country with the best and undetectable drug wins. Finnish team sucks even in that so there's no hope of winning and even if we did, it wouldn't weight at all. Would mean they just joined the drug competition once again with new tools. So much money put to the whole sports events nowdays that nobody can afford to *not* do what the others do. I wish our teams would show some finnish honesty and do what they do with the power of porige Very Happy . It's just personal preference of course... people can feel differently if they want. I wont bother changing their minds. I'd rather lose a fight knowing I did my best with what our fathers have taught us about life, then win by replacing our principals by material needs and values.

Ski jump was already lost from what I heard, our man got 4th position (didn't watch myself). This one would have felt good to win.

Icehockey will be interesting. I always hope it would end up in a Duel of Fates between Finland and Sweden. The mood here is warm during those events and even if there's some competitive teeth gnarling between the countries at times, there's nothing better then playing for championships against our dear neighbour.

Bobsleigh... well I find those big butts which tear their way through the suit most amusing. Nothing against a good butt.

There are few other events which would feel good to win gold from. All would be a nice bonus. I'll keep my feet firmly on the ground of course, I'm not some stupid fanboy.

Sweden - Finland icehockey match, 3 - 0. The loss hurts a little but the better team won, I give them that.

The Telly provider, messed up, so I had no channels for 5 days!
They come back last evening (CET/GMT+1), so I didnt watch the match!

They both can still end up in final, that would be a rematch I won't miss!!!
